I held back on publishing this piece whilst various international journalists were being held by Gaddafi-supporting troops in the Rixos hotel, Tripoli.  For six days, they were held against their will.  Earlier on this afternoon, the fantastic news broke that every single one of these journalists had been freed from their five star prison.
